House to House Initiatives

Houses are visited (at random) on a daily basis in order to share information with members of the community and also clarify several misconceptions and taboos about HIV/AIDS.

•Due to transport and financial constraints the house to house initiatives were temporarily abandoned and more emphasis placed on the IEC component as these activities also generated an income for the AIDS Care Trust.
